VOW: New World of Bridal
This semester, I am interning with a bridal store in Birmingham, AL called Imperial Formal Wear. I am doing buying and social media/marketing. On September 25th, the owner, Kristina, took me with her to Atlanta for VOW bridal market. It was such an amazing experience! So I'm here to give you a glimpse into our trip!
How cute are these floral letters?! We couldn't resist a picture!
First we stopped by the Val Stefani showroom! We carry the Simply Val Stefani collection and we got to see their new line in person and place our order! These two gorgeous dresses will be joining our store shortly!
Next, we stopped by to see our friends at Chic Nostaglia! Chic loves to use unique patterns and lace, and we love them for it! We are eyeing this dress for the store, what do you think?!
We visited the Justin Alexander showroom next. I didn't get any good picture in there because we had already placed our order for their Lillian West line. We went by to see our amazing rep Penny though, and she gave us food and wine! We also looked at some of JA's other lines, and maybe those will make an appearance at the store at some point.
Baby got back! We seriously cannot stop obsessing over the back of this dress by Eddy K! I think the Eddy K showroom was my favorite! Our rep, Scott, is the nicest guy and their showroom had a runway so we could see all of the dresses modeled!
We got to see some absolutely gorgeous dresses, including this number that we just cannot wait to get in the store! Talk about dream boat!
Sorry not sorry that I'm still obsessing. I mean come on, look at this! Can I also say how cute and sweet these models were?! We love you, Eddy K!!
After that, we visited a few different showrooms for lines that we don't carry yet to feel them out and see if they would fit our store. It was really nice to learn what to look for when you're checking out designers you have never seen in person before.
Fun Fact: Americasmart Atlanta is three buildings and bridal market was in building three and was fourteen floors!
We ended the day by attending the fashion show! I got to eat hourderves and sip on cocktails while watching a fashion show, I was definetely living my best and boujee life!
Overall, I had the most amazing time at VOW bridal market and I cannot wait to go back one day!
